The Well:  Community Acupuncture & Wellness

gather.  revive.  share.

About Us

The Well is owned and operated by Jennifer Poulin.    Jen holds a master's degree in acupuncture from Tai Sophia, and is thrilled to be following her dream of opening a community acupuncture center with the goal of making acupuncture accessible to everyone.

In addition to her acupuncture degree, Jen is also a licensed massage therapist specializing in Asian Bodywork (Shiatsu), although she also performs western table-techniques such as Swedish and Deep Tissue.   She is a graduate of the Baltimore School of Massage and a diplomat in Asian Bodywork Therapy through NCCAOM.

Hours:

Our Walk-In Community Acupuncture Clinic is open Monday thru Thursday from 2pm to 8pm* and Friday and Saturday from 9am to 3pm.  Please stop on in!   Community Acupuncture is only $25!

*Exception:  Please note that on the last Tuesday of each month, we close at 6pm instead of 8pm.

Individual Acupuncture Sessions, as well as Massage Therapy Sessions, are available by Appointment Only.   Please click the BOOK NOW buttons to view these practitioner's individual schedules and to request an appointment.

Finding Us:

The Well is located within the Federal Hill Mainstreet Building at 42 E. Cross Street.   We are in the basement (yes, where the public restrooms used to be.  Why do you think we called it The Well?)    For your first appointment, we will meet you at the Mainstreet enterance and show you how to find our office.

Parking:

Street parking along Cross Street is metered.   Ticketed meters use coins and credit cards but no bills.     We have had no difficulty finding a space during the day.   In the evening, we recommend the West Street Parking garage, about 2-blocks away.   If you have trouble, please give us a call and we'll try to help.

Accessibility:

We regret that our office, which located within part of a historic building,  is not accessible to those who may have trouble with stairs.  If you fall into this category, we deeply apologize and would be glad to recommend another good local practitioner.
